Baton Rouge Wedding Photography: Afton Gardens- William + Ivy

Well, there’s always a handful in the year. Just those couple of days that blow the rest of them out the water. The ones you want to relive and make sure you bottle it up to revisit it again and again. Working Ivy and Williams wedding in St Francisville was just that.

From every last detail.

The getting ready spot was actually at a home of an old friend unknowingly. It was perfect because she was obsessed with art and actually so accommodating with making sure every little detail was documented so perfectly for the two of them.

The home was gorgeous, the grounds were gorgeous, the bride and the groom impeccable. It was literally one of the highlights of 2020. To work with incredible people in beautiful spaces and with nothing but ample opportunities to create breathtaking, crafted moments with all that was around- it was beyond my heart’s desires.

Not every day is like this so that’s what make them that much more special. I made new friends, we danced, drank and ate. The food. I can’t even go there. Perfection. It was just what the doctor ordered for ending the month of October. Some of my favorite moments below…
