Hi, I'm Natty! I'm a photographer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but I love to travel to wherever you want to go.
Well, HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody!
It feels so good to be writing again. It’s kind of the first thing that goes when life gets busy! Well, that and working out! But here’s to making a huge effort in 2021 to write more. Especially if that darn book is ever going to get written! This post is less about words though and more about imagery that really did it for me in 2020.
Over the course of the year I shoot, with my team, 34 weddings + 53 family + engagement or bridal sessions. That is correct people… close to 80 different final galleries were passed off from me this year. I am not even counting the mini sessions at the end of the year because this just sums it up enough! That is A LOT of images and so many of them get lost because once I finish with something, I am on to the next thing. This is unfortunate but it is why I am writing this post post!
So here’s some of my un-posted items that I still just adore!
What I love about this image is it’s REAL LIFE which is what I always gravitate towards. I LOVE with my whole heart families getting to just be. Kids getting to just be and capturing what comes from it. That is why I thoroughly enjoyed shooting this preshy little families time together.
And here with Audrey’s family… such simple moments spent in LSU Burden Gardens make my heart so happy. And making babies fly is a sure way to bring the smiles or to make them scream their heads off. Mom’s are always back behind dad holding their breath.
And thank you dear photographer that started photographing families walking together instead of just sitting, standing and smiling at the camera 🙂 Everyone that loves lifestyles photos says amen!
These darker, moodier days moved in around October and really make my heart happy. I love how rich the colors are in the overcast weather. Not everyone’s thing but it’s definitely my thing!!!
Shelby and Matt were married two years ago and we had a good ole time at their wedding and now for Baby Rosemary to be coming into the scene it was all too precious to document these for them. Maternity shoot gone to the plant store. My heart could not take this goodness!
The end.
