Weekend Highlight: Baton Rouge Wedding Photography

Well it’s May alright! Double weekend abound!

I always get questions as to whether I shoot in churches. I think about 60% of my clients have their weddings in catholic churches around here. The South and Catholics are synonymous. So here is me saying that as a baton rouge wedding photographer we are in churches nearly every wedding weekend. Some of the weddings we shoot choose a beautiful outdoor venue so there is also lots of weddings there. See below…

Here is a wedding for my favorite Baton Rouge jewel, Mount Hope, that I love to photograph weddings at every single time. This venue is a JEWEL and has it all when it comes to the quintessential Southern charm.

But a favorite combination for a wedding and for a wedding photographer that loves to be outdoors is a Catholic ceremony and then a reception at somewhere darling. These below were a great combo with a mass and then moving on to the Country Club down the road in Patterson Louisiana.

So no matter where you want your wedding ceremony there is always the option to get a local venue that has the outdoors backdrop that you are dreaming of. Hope this helps!!
