Trent + MacKenzie’s Baton Rouge Wedding at Magnolia Mound
Trent and Mackenzie had two wedding celebrations!
One in colorful Colorado and the second here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the beautiful and rustic Magnolia Mound! This couple was just perfect! I met MacKenzie and her mother-in-law at the lovely Magpie one afternoon for coffee and to discuss details! The moment she texted me I knew it was going to be a hit!
“I love your work and can’t wait to work with you,” she sent me. “I visited your site and I love it all!!” It was love at first look I suppose! Haha…
She found me from Instagram and the rest was history! Their Baton Rouge wedding reception was set for August 29th and man, what a party it was!!

The day got kicked off at the Hilton in Downtown Baton Rouge! This place is a jewel if you need a great venue for a party or celebration… Totally restored from it’s former glory days, it now is the plush spot for Baton Rouge visitors.
Imagine lots of girls, one room and lots and lots of make up 🙂
After we all got our boots on, we headed off down the road to Magnolia Mound to meet up with her beau, Trent, and the party that was awaiting!
We got several great shots of just the two of them being them. Trent made me promise to whip and nay nay with them… He was wayyyyy the dancing machine!
A friend of their’s did a fantastic job on a gigantic wooden LOUISIANA for all the guest to sign instead of a book.. It was perfection!
Aside from delicious Mansur’s catering there was lots and lots of drinks, whipping and nay naying!
It was definitely a Louisiana Saturday Night!
