Hi, I'm Natty! I'm a photographer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but I love to travel to wherever you want to go.
Bre emailed me around June to talk about Baby Meila coming in August. I was absolutely thrilled to take her family on as a client because she wanted the full package- the Bundle- with a Hospital Session, my absolute favorite and Newborn sessions and a Fresh 48.
That was the summer. Meila decided to come the day before me and my Hubs headed across the ocean to Africa to visit friends. I hated to miss her birthday but I knew I was coming back to plenty of Newborn love upon returning.
Upon coming home I found out that sweet Meila was not responding to her parents like normal and sleeping an awful lot. Breanne and Terry went back to the hospital with their little newborn just days of being sent home. And so their journey began.
Sweet Melia was in the hospital for days being tested and treated to try and figure out what exactly was going on inside of her little body.
I couldn’t imagine the strain on one’s heart to watch their sweet, new baby undergo all that Melia did. After relentless testing and poking and prodding they decided the best case scenario was to head to New Orleans where she could be seen by the best of the best- a geneticist.
Probably the best decision they made. Within a short amount of time they were being given information about Meila’s condition that was all new. The doctors explain she could possibly have the MMA disease in which your body can not breakdown proteins. This was causing her to have different reactions in her little, newborn body that were causing the out-of-touch sense and sleepiness.
Having an ANSWER is all those two parents were asking for!!! And they are still believing God to move in Sweet Melia’s life for the very best outcome!!! Their faith never wavered. Their hearts, though weary, were not moved. They plowed on. They moved forward and they hoped for the very, very best.
So Meila got to finally, officially come home and live with her big brother, Eli and get loved on by mommy and daddy.
Well, maybe a little playing by big brother Eli ^^^^^^
And I finally came over and did those pictures we emailed about all those weeks ago :))
And they are living happily ever after…
The end.
